Life before Crisp Packet Triangles.

Well, traveller. It appears that you may have been led under false information to this page, expecting to find things here that are not in fact to be found. Don't ask me how we know this. We just know. So there.

And if you reckon we're wrong, don't you dare try to e-mail us and tell us or anything.

You were expecting this page to be a thoroughly tedious and uncreative history of the dull tedium that occurred in life before crisp packet triangles. This is not the case, because as we all know, there was no life before crisp packet triangles. Well, not for us, at any rate.

So what you're actually going to get, whether you like it or not, is a list of sites that the site maintainers of this site (the word 'site' three times in one sentence, oh dear, and four times if you count the parentheses) have had their grubby little fingers on in the past. They range from the not very good sites at the top, to the worse ones at the bottom. Enjoy. And come back soon. Or we will hunt you down.

Sites that we still control from afar.

SillyNet

is now offline, but I previously described it as:
"a collection of, oh go look for yourself. A collection of more than 500 humour files from here, there and everywhere around the Internet, selected for their potential to make people grin a bit. Now quite a popular site: contained on one of Yahoo's Surfer's Recommended pages. Alphabetically sorted & hand-washed for your improved entertainment.

The K Files

- a small celebration of Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, collectively known as the KLF, as well as the JAMs, 2K, Disco 2000, the Timelords, Liberation Loophole, the K Foundation, and more...

Sites that lurk in this domain, but are deliberately hidden.

The Great Abbreviations Hunt

- if you thought nothing could possibly be sadder than the Crisp Packet Triangle Shrine Zone, take a look at this slightly out of date and let your eyebrows rise.

The alt.fan.douglas-adams FAQ

- and what a labour of love this Frequently Asked Questions file is too. Warning: contains words written in Australia.

Power To The Beats: Utah Saints web site

- a web site for one of my favourite bands. Quite comprehensive (if I do say so myself), and quite a departure for me because (unusually) it doesn't contain any bad jokes (yet).

Sites that are now nurtured elsewhere by other caring hands.

ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha / The Mostly Harmless Web Site

- The web home of ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, the official Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy appreciation society. I don't know about know, but when it was run from this house, it Included details of how to join the society, extracts from back issues of Mostly Harmless magazine, exclusive 'Net articles, and more.
